Grand Bourdon de Hull #3 | Drone Morse

A traditional drone is minimalist music that unfolds around a single sustained note, sometimes accompanied by rhythms, but always around a single note. An exceptional opportunity for acoustic communion and listening worthy of the present moment.

This year, we're combining tonality and words, as selected texts are amalgamated with the Bourdon in the form of integrated Morse cord.

Le Grand Bourdon #3: Drone Morse is presented by the Centre de production DAÏMÔN in collaboration with the Maison des arts littéraires, under the artistic and technical direction of Michael Caffrey, with artistic contributions by Mafane, Michel Côté, Aymara Alvarado Sanchez and Gretchen Phillips.
