Tzakzeeka is a process with rotating facilitators, the 4 current facilitators are:
Olive Lazarus, a Gatineau-based producer, musician, singer and listener. They've played hundreds of shows across north america with a variety of musical projects, created multiphonic sound-narrative installations and facilitated song writing workshops for refugee youth. They believe that anyone has the ability to connect and heal through free-sounding.
Melek Robbana, a facilitator and event organizer based between Tunisia and Montreal that specializes in supporting the creation of multilingual, contextually-specific moments of embodiment.
Miranda Jones, a Tiohtià:ke/Montréal-based artist. She works in and around performance through radio, vocal music, theatre and visual installations. She spent 2024-25 developing a new work with La Serre Arts Vivants, called ‘Harmony Need More than One”.
Gabriela Gomez, a singer, dancer, somatic practitioner, community counselor and facilitator. She studied classical voice and violin for 10 years, holds a master’s in Educational Psychology and is trained at the advanced level in Somatic Experiencing.
