Arena | Rachel Weldon

In this project, Rachel Weldon explores Call and Response through a turntable-based sound work that weaves together repetition, improvisation, field recordings, and experimental sampling. Centered on Hull’s sonic landscape—both archival and current—the piece will reflect on circular time, land-based practices, and alternative temporalities. Using experimental turntablism techniques, it's a layered sound collage that enacts dialogue across sources: vinyl records, field recordings, archival radio material, and community voices.
