Born in Lebanon and based in Montreal, Hoda Adra creates at the intersection of writing, drawing, and performance. Her practice is rooted in orality as a space of resistance and explores the censorship of the female body, the silenced oral history of abortion, and the effects of power on intimacy. In 2024, she performed her solo piece The Story of How I Split in Two at the Théâtre Prospero, and the text was published by Éditions du Noroît in 2026.
