Marilou Craft (she/they/she) lives in Tiohtià:ke/Mooniyang (Montreal) and works as an artist, translator, editor, speaker, and dramaturg. Her practice is poetic and performative, vocal and sonic; she explores the intimate so that its political implications may resonate. Some of her compositions have been published in literary journals and anthologies; most are shared orally, often accompanied by soundscapes created specifically for them. Her artistic collaborations include duet performances with Chloé Savoie-Bernard and Elyze Venne-Deshaies, the experimental music group AC/CC (with Sarah Albu, Belinda Campbell, and Eric Craven), and the transnational project NETTLES (with Jo Fong, Sonia Hughes, and Alexandra “Spicey” Landé).
